From Rotoworld: Davies was brilliant in Sunday’s victory over the Dodgers, scattering just three singles over six shutout innings. Davies walked one and struck out six on the afternoon. While he has been inconsistent this season, he showed again on Sunday the upside that he carries. Now 6-3 on the season, he’ll look to further improve upon his 4.69 ERA and 1.55 WHIP tonight.
Wacha yielded two runs in six innings Friday in defeating the Phillies. Wacha had struggled in three straight starts, taking his ERA all of the way from 2.74 to 4.67. There had been talk of him getting a break for a spell, but this should quiet the speculation. His stuff has looked fine throughout, and he’s a reasonable play in mixed leagues at home against the Brewers next week.
