According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Yankees are -154 money line favorites versus the Brewers, who have odds of +125 to pull off the upset in the Bronx. With Jimmy Nelson set to face Masahiro Tanaka in the pitching matchup, the over/under sits at 9.5 runs.

From Rotoworld: Nelson yielded just one unearned run and whiffed eight over seven frames in Tuesday’s 6-2 victory over the Orioles. Five of the Orioles’ six hits were singles, and they were only able to dent the scoreboard following a Travis Shaw throwing error in the seventh inning. Nelson pitched out of a jam after that with back-to-back strikeouts. The righty now has an incredible 68/9 K/BB ratio over his last 54 2/3 innings, not to mention a 2.30 ERA.
Tanaka delivered his third straight strong outing on Monday, limiting the Blue Jays to one run on five hits over seven innings. The right-hander punched out eight on the night while issuing only one walk. The only blemish on his night came on an RBI single off the bat of Darwin Barney in the seventh inning. While his 5.25 ERA and 1.36 WHIP on the season look unappealing, he has been a completely different pitcher his last three starts.
Bet Today’s Brewers vs. Yankees Game
OUR PREDICTION: Even though Tanaka has been solid of late, this is still a good spot to take the underdog Brewers. They’re playing better ball than the Yankees and should have won on Saturday if it weren’t for a ninth-inning collapse. Milwaukee is 5-1 in its last six games overall, is 5-1 in Nelson’s last six starts, and is 15-3 in its last 18 games when playing the third game of a series. The Yankees, meanwhile, are 2-5 in their last seven games, are 2-11 in their last 13 games when their opponent allows five runs or more in their previous game, and are 0-7 in their last seven games coming off a win.
