From Rotoworld: Garza was hammered for six earned runs over 5 1/3 innings Wednesday in a loss to the Blue Jays. Garza had been in a nice groove in May, but it was never meant to last. He surrendered three home runs on Wednesday, including a Ryan Goins grand slam in the top of the sixth inning. The veteran right-hander now stands 2-1 with a 3.60 ERA in 35 innings (six starts) this season and makes for too risky of a play in standard fantasy leagues.
Gsellman allowed three runs in six innings and did not get a decision against the Padres on Wednesday. Yangervis Solarte did all the damage, driving in one run in the third inning and two more in the fifth. Gsellman surrendered six hits and one walk while fanning three batters in the quality start. The Mets skipped his last start but gave him another chance today. He 2-3 record remains unchanged to go with a 6.45 ERA in 10 games, including seven starts. He has 33 strikeouts and 15 walks in 44 2/3 innings.
