OUR PREDICTION
The Cardinals have had a rough go of things thus far in the Big Apple but I see them picking up their first victory of the season behind Weaver. The youngster dominated this spring and brings with him an elite strikeout rate. Yoenis Cespedes might have some success against him today but otherwise, I expect Weaver to carry his excellent spring into the regular season. On the other side, Matz isn’t going to get blown up but the Cardinals should do enough damage against him to earn their first victory.
