From Rotoworld: Leake allowed three runs over five innings in a loss to the Diamondbacks on Saturday. Leake cruised through three hitless innings, but the fourth was a different story. He hit Jake Lamb before serving up a two-run homer to Paul Goldschmidt, and after a video review that confirmed the homer, he subsequently gave up a solo shot to J.D. Martinez. The D’backs didn’t get to him for anything else, but it was enough to saddle him with the loss, his ninth of the year. Leake owns a nice 3.29 ERA with a 1.24 WHIP in 21 starts this year, next taking on the Reds on Friday.
Wojciechowski will make a spot start for the Reds on Friday against the Cardinals. He’ll be filling in for Tim Adleman, who is apparently dealing with an injury. Wojciechowski has been working as a reliever for the past couple of weeks and probably won’t be able to go more than 60-70 pitches.
