Marlins vs. Cardinals Prediction
After thumping the Marlins on Monday, will the Cardinals make it two straight when they host Miami at 2:15PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cardinals are -135 money line favorites versus the Marlins, who have odds of +125 to pull off the upset in St. Louis. With Jose Urena set to face Lance Lynn in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9.5 runs.

Latest via Rotoworld: Urena allowed five runs — three earned — on six hits over six innings in a loss to the Mets on Thursday. Urena allowed three doubles among his six hits but didn’t issue a walk while striking out four. The final line looks bad, but truthfully it was another pretty good turn from the 25-year-old, who has largely been a revelation in the Marlins’ rotation. Urena now owns a 3.42 ERA in 17 games, including 11 starts, and he’d won his last five decisions prior to Thursday. Urena will look to get back in the win column Tuesday against the Cardinals.
Lynn surrendered three runs on four hits over six innings in Thursday’s win over the Diamondbacks. Lynn punched out seven batters and issued one walk in the outing. Runs came home on his line via an RBI double by Gregor Blanco in the third inning, a solo home run by Paul Goldschmidt in the fourth and an RBI fielder’s choice by Jake Lamb in the sixth. Lynn will carry a 3.90 ERA and 1.17 WHIP into his final scheduled outing before the All-Star break, a home start against the Marlins.
