Cardinals vs. Orioles Prediction
Will the Cardinals win their series in Baltimore with a victory today over the Orioles at 1:35PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cardinals are -111 money line favorites versus the Orioles, who have odds of +101 to pull off the upset in Baltimore. With Lance Lynn set to face Ubaldo Jimenez in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 10.5 runs.

From Rotoworld? Lynn worked five scoreless innings in a combined shutout of the Brewers on Tuesday. It wasn’t his most efficient outing, but Lynn kept the Brewers off the board with eight strikeouts. He yielded four walks but only three hits. The impending free agent right-hander now boasts a 2.69 ERA and 71 strikeouts through 73 2/3 innings (13 starts) this season with St. Louis. Lynn will face the Orioles on the road next.
Jimenez will start on Sunday against the Cardinals. He and Alec Asher are flip-flopping spots again after Asher replaced Jimenez in the rotation last month. The move has less to do with what Jimenez did since moving to relief — he held a 5.27 ERA — than it does with Asher providing more versatility out of the bullpen. Jimenez is capable of a gem on any night, but he’s obviously provided mostly clunkers this season with a 6.71 ERA.
Bet Today’s Cardinals vs. Orioles Game
OUR PREDICTION: The Cardinals have a good chance to win this series with a victory today because Lynn is more trustworthy than Jimenez. That said, the better play in today’s game is the over. The over is a perfect 5-0 in the last five meetings between these two teams and cashed in the first two games of this series. Runs shouldn’t be at a premium again today.
