Reds vs. Diamondbacks Prediction
Will the Diamondbacks end their first half on a high when they take on the Reds at 4:10PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Diamondbacks are -160 money line favorites versus the Reds, who have odds of +150 to pull off the upset in Arizona today. With Homer Bailey set to face Patrick Corbin in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 10.5 runs.

From Rotoworld: Bailey limited the Rockies to one run in six innings Tuesday to pick up a win at Coors Field. Bailey made some enemies of DFS players tonight. The right-hander gave up a whopping 14 runs over 4 2/3 innings in his first two starts back from the DL, only to stymie the Rockies in Coors in outing No. 3. The Rockies have been slumping badly — and have a terribly overrated offense anyway — so we wouldn’t go buying Bailey stock just yet.
Corbin yielded three runs in 4 2/3 innings Tuesday in a loss to the Dodgers.
Corbin struck out eight, and it took him 109 pitches to get his 14 outs in this one. He had turned in three straight quality starts to lower his ERA from 5.38 to 4.76. Still, it helped that two of those outings came against the Phillies. He’s had about as easy of a schedule as any NL pitcher this year and is still just 6-8 with a 4.81 ERA.
Bet Today’s Reds vs. Diamondbacks Game
OUR PREDICTION: I don’t trust either pitcher so I’m riding with the over, even with the total set high. The over is 4-1 in Bailey’s last five starts overall and is 5-2 in the Reds’ last seven games after allowing two runs or less in their previous contest. On the other side, the over has cashed in five of Corbin’s last seven starts overall and is 15-3 in his last 18 outings after allowing five runs or more in their previous game.
