From Rotoworld: Greinke allowed just four hits and a walk over seven scoreless innings while punching out seven batters for his 11th win of the season Friday against Cincinnati. The All-Star threw 67 of his 107 pitches for strikes, dropping his ERA to 2.86. He rolls into the break with three consecutive victories, lowering his ERA in each of the outings. Since he’ll have three full days to rest before Tuesday’s All-Star Game in Miami, you can expect to see the Arizona right-hander work at least an inning, and he could be on the short list of candidates to start for the NL.
Adleman took the loss after allowing five runs in 4 1/3 innings Friday against the Nationals. Adelman gave up seven hits, including a pair of home runs to Bryce Harper. He’s now allowed 21 home runs in just 88 1/3 innings this season, which just isn’t going to play in most fantasy leagues. He’ll bring a 4.99 ERA into a tough matchup against the Diamondbacks next week.
