From Rotoworld: Stewart had mixed results in his spot start against the Twins on Wednesday, surrendering five runs (zero earned) on five hits in his 3 2/3 innings. The right-hander struck out two while walking one in the ballgame. His defense didn’t do him any favors, as a pair of errors led to all five runs against him being unearned. It’s unclear if he’ll stick around in the rotation to make another start against the Braves next week.
Teheran was crushed in Friday’s loss to the Phillies, giving up eight runs on seven hits over his 4 2/3 innings of work. The right-hander walked two and punched out five on the night. Once again, his trouble stemmed from his inability to keep the ball in the yard, surrendering three home runs all in the fifth inning. Teheran will carry a disappointing 5.09 ERA and 1.41 WHIP into Wednesday’s start against the Dodgers.
