Dodgers vs. Braves Prediction
Will the Dodgers and Braves break out their bats on Tuesday night in Atlanta when the teams open a new series at 7:35PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Dodgers are -190 money line favorites versus the Braves, who have odds of +170 to pull off the upset. With Kenta Maeda set to face Lucas Sims in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9.5 runs.

From Rotoworld: Maeda allowed two runs – one earned – and five hits with two walks and four strikeouts over five innings in a victory against the Twins on Tuesday. Maeda threw 62 of his 91 pitches for strikes, winning for the third consecutive outing. He also lowered his ERA for the third consecutive start, going from 4.56 to 4.09 just since July 2. That’s the good news. The bad news is Maeda has lasted just five innings in each of the three starts. His next scheduled start will come next Tuesday in Atlanta.
Sims will be called up to make his major league debut Tuesday against the Dodgers. He’ll take over for Aaron Blair, who was rocked in his first start filling in for Jaime Garcia last week. Sims, a first round-pick in 2012, holds a 3.75 ERA and 132/36 K/BB ratio over 115 1/3 innings this season. He’s worth a shot in NL-only leagues, although he certainly has a rough first matchup.

On the other side, the over is 4-0 in the Braves’ last four games versus NL West opponents, is 9-3 in his last 12 games overall, and is 19-7-1 in their last 27 home games following a road trip of seven or more days.
