From Rotoworld: Maeda allowed just four hits with no walks while adding six strikeouts over seven scoreless innings in a win against the Angels on Tuesday. Maeda threw 64 of his 92 pitches for strikes to run his record to 6-3 and lower his ERA to 4.15. After a shaky April he has really righted the ship, going 2-0 with a 3.63 ERA in four May starts and 2-1 with a 1.71 ERA and a save over five June appearances (three starts). The Swiss Army knife is proving very valuable to manager Dave Roberts and fantasy owners lately.
Chacin allowed two earned runs, seven hits and a walk across seven innings in a loss against the Braves on Tuesday. Chacin struck out four batters in the 99-pitch quality start, lowering his ERA for the fifth consecutive outing. After a shaky first couple of months Chacin is hitting his stride in June, posting five quality starts in five outings with an impressive 3.00 ERA and 27 strikeouts to just 10 walks over 33 innings.
