Dodgers vs. Reds Prediction
Will the Dodgers complete their sweep of the Reds today at 1:10PM ET in Cincinnati?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Dodgers are -175 money line favorites versus the Reds, who have odds of +157 to pull off the upset in Cincinnati. With Kenta Maeda set to face Bronson Arroyo in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 11 runs.

Latest from Rotoworld: Maeda will start Sunday against the Reds. The Dodgers recently began a stretch of 20 games in 20 days, so manager Dave Roberts wanted to give his starters an extra day of rest. Maeda was removed from the starting rotation last week to make room for Alex Wood. The right-hander has gone 4-3 with a 5.16 ERA over 10 starts this season.
Arroyo was tagged for nine runs and 13 hits in 4 2/3 innings Monday in a loss to the Padres. Arroyo’s finesse just isn’t enough with his velocity lower than ever and balls flying out of parks at record pace. He’s now given up 22 homers in 68 innings. The Reds will have to stop running him out there at some point.
Bet Today’s Dodgers vs. Reds Game
OUR PREDICTION: The Dodgers may very well complete their sweep of the Reds but I don’t feel comfortable laying -175 odds with Maeda starting. The better bet is on the over, which is 4-1 in the last five meetings between these two teams. The over is also 5-1 in Arroyo’s last six home starts, is 18-7-1 in his last 26 outings overall, and is 6-1 in the Dodgers’ last seven games overall.
