From Rotoworld: Estrada had major issues with his control while allowing two runs over 4 1/3 innings Friday against the Red Sox. Estrada gave up just two hits, but he walked a career-high seven batters while throwing just 46 out of 94 pitches for strikes. He was pulled after giving up a two-run double to Dustin Pedroia in the fifth. Estrada has been out of whack all month and now owns a 4.86 ERA and 1.41 WHIP on the year. He’ll hope to turn things around in July.
Pineda gave up three runs (two earned) in six innings in Friday’s win over the Astros. The Yankees scored five runs in the sixth inning to put him on top. Pineda struck out three and walked none in the victory. It was a nice bounceback outing after he was crushed for seven runs over four innings against the Rangers last time out. He’ll bring a 4.05 ERA into his start against the Blue Jays next week.
