Giants vs. Braves Prediction
The Giants are having a horrendous season but can they make it two in a row against the Braves at 7:35PM ET tonight?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Giants are -130 money line favorites versus the Braves, who have odds of +118 to pull off the upset at home. With Jeff Samardzija set to face Sean Newcomb in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9 runs.

From Rotoworld: Samardzija was battered for eight earned runs, 11 hits and a walk over six innings in a loss Friday at Colorado. Samardzija threw 78 of his 110 pitches for strikes as he dropped the ninth of his 11 decisions. It wasn’t all terrible, as he did belt a two-run homer in the loss. He had his ERA trending in the right direction recently, but this stinker made his ERA mushroom from 4.31 to 4.81 to undo all of his good work over the past five outings. He’ll look to bounce back June 21 in a favorable matchup with Bartolo Colon and the Braves in Atlanta.
Newcomb lost to the Marlins after allowing three runs in six innings Friday. Newcomb had his A+ control in his major league debut last week. Tonight was more of a C, as he walked four in his six innings. Still, he kept it together and gave the Braves a quality start. That’s important that he can keep his team in the game and not burn out the pen when he’s not at his best.
