According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Brewers are -137 money line favorites versus the Giants, who have odds of +127 to pull o9ff the upset in Milwaukee. With Matt Cain set to face Chase Anderson in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9 runs.

From Rotoworld: Cain allowed two runs – one earned – with seven hits and a walk over seven innings in a loss against the Braves on Friday. Cain threw 64 of his 92 pitches for strikes while recording three punchouts. After an impressive 2-0 record with a 2.30 ERA in five April starts he has stumbled to a 1-3 mark and 6.59 ERA in five outings in the month of May. Walks have done him in so far in May, as he has 15 walks with just 14 strikeouts across 27 1/3 innings.
Anderson blanked the Mets for seven innings and struck out seven in a victory Thursday. Anderson was probably going to be the odd-man out of the Brewers rotation at the end of the spring if not for Matt Garza’s injury, but after 11 starts, he’s 4-1 with a 3.30 ERA. He’s throwing harder than ever, and he’s struck out 59 in 62 2/3 innings. We still don’t think there’s enough upside here to justify a pickup in mixed leagues, but he’s one of the big reasons the Brewers are very much in contention.
