From Rotoworld: Santana allowed seven earned runs, seven hits and three walks while recording just two strikeouts over four innings in a loss Saturday at L.A. Angels. Santana served up three home runs, including Albert Pujols’ historic grand slam for his 600th homer. He threw just 48 of his 82 pitches as his ERA rose from 1.75 to 2.44. After a sparkling 5-0 record and 0.66 ERA through his first six starts he is 2-3 with a 4.28 ERA over his past six assignments.
Moore struggled in a no-decision against the Phillies on Sunday, surrendering five runs (four earned) on six hits over his four innings of work. Moore also issued a pair of walks and struck out one on the afternoon. The Phillies got to him early and often in this one, with a pair of run-scoring doubles in the first inning and a two-run blast from Freddy Galvis in the second. He has been a disappointment for the Giants this season, posting a 2-6 record to go along with an uninspiring 5.22 ERA and 1.49 WHIP. He’ll look to get back on track on Friday when he does battle against the Twins.
