Gaviglio is making his first start from the Royals. He has pitched in 12 games this season for Seattle, posting a 4.62 ERA with a 1.35 WHIP. He has 40 strikeouts this season with 21 walks.
Minnesota snapped a three-game losing streak on Wednesday night against the Rays with a 10-6 win. The Twins are 72-67 overall this season and 37-30 on the road. The Twins are putting up 4.95 runs this season while allowing 4.98 per game. Minnesota is being led by Brian Dozier, who has 29 home runs and 80 RBI this season. Joe Mauer is adding 30 doubles with 56 RBI and a .302 average.

In three starts, Gibson has a 3.31 ERA against KC with a 1-0 record. Even if he’s not great, he’s pitching well enough to give the Twins a chance to win. KC could be without its biggest power bat in Moustakas, so that won’t help their cause. I like the Twins to get the nod tonight on the road.
