Bergman was outstanding in Sunday’s victory over the Red Sox, scattering four hits and apair of walks over seven shutout innings. The right-hander struck out two on the afternoon. Aside from a disaster against the Nationals his last time out, he has pitched relatively well through four starts with the Mariners. He’ll bring a 4.67 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 14/8 K/BB ratio into Friday’s matchup against the Rays.
