From Rotoworld: Marquez hurled six scoreless innings against the Indians but had to settle for a no-decision as the bullpen blew the game in the ninth inning on Tuesday. It was a real pitcher’s duel between Marquez and Corey Kluber. Marquez allowed just two base hits and three walks while striking out three batters in the gem outing. He was in line for a win until Rockies’ closer Greg Holland melted down in the ninth. His record holds at 9-4 with a 3.88 ERA and 1.28 WHIP on the season.
Worley delivered another strong start in Tuesday’s victory over the Nationals, allowing one run on six hits over his six innings. The veteran right-hander walked three and struck out two in the ballgame. The only blemish on his night came on an RBI ground out by Bryce Harper in the third inning. He’ll look to further improve upon his 4.82 ERA and 1.41 WHIP when he does battle against the Rockies on Sunday.
