From Rotoworld: Gray delivered seven innings of one-run ball Saturday in the Rockies’ 8-5 victory over the Phillies. Gray carved his way easily through the Phillies’ star-less lineup, scattering six hits and one walk while striking out four. The one run he allowed came on a double-play groundout by Nick Williams in the top of the fourth. Gray has been sharp lately and looks poised for a strong finish to an injury-plagued 2017 campaign. Up next is a road start against the Marlins.
Urena delivered six innings of one-run ball Sunday in the Marlins’ 4-1 win over the Braves. Miami jumped out to a 4-0 lead in the top of the first inning, allowing Urena to cruise comfortably through the Braves’ batting order. The young right-hander gave up just three hits and one walk while punching out three, and Atlanta’s only run of the afternoon came on a sixth-inning RBI single by Ender Inciarte. Urena is now 10-5 with a 3.70 ERA, 1.19 WHIP, and 79/41 K/BB ratio in 114 1/3 innings this season. A start at home against the Rockies comes next.
