Marlins vs. Nationals Prediction
Will the Marlins upset the Nationals when the two teams square off at 7:05PM ET on Tuesday night?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Nationals are -141 money line favorites versus the Marlins, who have odds of +127 money line underdogs in D.C. With Vance Worley set to face A.J. Cole in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 10 runs.

From Rotoworld: Worley twirled seven shutout innings to beat the Nationals 7-0 on Wednesday. He gave up just two base hits — both singles — and didn’t issue any walks while notching three strikeouts. He completely shut down one of the best offenses in the majors. Worley has served as a swing man for the Marlins this year, making six starts and eight relief appearances. He has a 1-2 record with a 5.31 ERA and 1.40 WHIP in 40 2/3 innings.
Cole coughed up five runs in five innings and was charged with a loss to the Marlins on Wednesday. He was called up from Triple-A to make a spot start tonight and it did not go well. He gave up an RBI double to Giancarlo Stanton in the first inning, then gave up a pair of two-run homers to Christian Yelich and Derek Dietrich in the fifth. He will probably get sent back down to Triple-A where he has a 5.66 ERA in 16 starts this year.
Bet Tonight’s Marlins vs. Nationals Game
OUR PREDICTION: Considering the Marlins beat the Nationals last Wednesday in this same pitching matchup, I’m going to roll the dice on the Marlins. Worley was excellent when shutting out the Nationals in that matchup while Cole was beat up after making a spot start coming up from Triple-A. Yelich obviously sees Cole well and this Miami lineup remains dangerous despite the team being four games under .500.
