OUR PREDICTION
Even with Gabe Kapler’s managerial issues to start the year, I like the Phillies in this spot today. Harvey posted a 4.50 ERA in Grapefruit League play and didn’t inspire much belief that he’ll figure things out. Dating back to last season, the Mets are just 8-20 in Harvey’s last 28 starts versus National League East rivals and are 1-4 in his last five outings overall. On the other side, Lively pitched well this spring and if Kapler can slow down on burning through his relief pitchers, the Phillies should pull off the small upset tonight.
