Mets vs. Dodgers Prediction
Will the Mets and Dodgers struggle to score runs tonight in L.A. when the two teams meet at 10:10PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Dodgers are -300 money line favorites versus the Mets, who have odds of +250 to pull off the upset. With Zack Wheeler set to face Clayton Kershaw in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 7 runs.

From Rotoworld: Wheeler was destroyed in Tuesday’s loss to the Cubs, allowing eight runs on six hits in only 1 2/3 innings. Wheeler also issued three free passes while striking out three in his abbreviated outing. He surrendered a leadoff home run to Anthony Rizzo and it was all downhill from there. The biggest blow against him came on a grand slam off the bat of Ian Happ during their seven-run uprising in the second. Wheeler will look to improve upon his 4.48 ERA and 1.46 WHIP when he does battle against the Dodgers in Los Angeles on Monday.
Kershaw held the Indians to two runs in seven innings to pick up his ninth win Tuesday. It still feels like we haven’t seen peak Kershaw this year, yet here he is 9-2 with a 2.23 ERA and a 105/16 K/BB ratio in 97 innings. The Dodgers have won each of his last eight starts, even though they scored just two runs in three of those.
Bet Tonight’s Mets vs. Dodgers Game
OUR PREDICTION: The under has cashed in four of the last five meetings between these two teams in Los Angeles. The under is also a perfect 6-0 in Kershaw’s last six starts versus the Mets and has hit in five of Kershaw’s last six home starts versus New York. Both of these pitchers should fare well tonight and with the Dodgers struggling to score runs for Kershaw, the under is a safe bet in L.A.
