OUR PREDICTION
Scherzer was roughed up by the Marlins in his last two spring training starts and Bailey also struggled this spring, posting a 0-2 record with a 7.50 ERA. Bailey also surrendered seven home runs in 18 innings this spring. Most pitchers are merely trying to get a feel for their pitches in spring training although when it comes to Bailey, he just flat struggles whether the games are exhibition or real. I won’t lay the -200 but the Nationals are a solid runline bet.
