From Rotoworld: Strasburg allowed two earned runs, four hits and three walks over seven innings with seven strikeouts in a win Friday in Oakland. Strasburg threw 64 of his 100 pitches for strikes, improving to 7-1 while slightly lowering his ERA from 2.94 to 2.91. He has lowered his ERA in each of his past four outings. Strasburg moved to 5-0 with a 2.68 ERA across 40 1/3 innings over six road outings this season. He’ll be on the road for his next scheduled start, too, but it is a difficult assignment opposite Clayton Kershaw in L.A. on Wednesday afternoon.

Kershaw spun seven innings of one-run ball and struck out 14 batters in a no-decision against the Brewers on Friday. Kershaw gave up just two hits in all and the only damage was a solo homer off the bat of Domingo Santana in his final inning of work. He left the game in position for the loss before the Dodgers tied things up in the ninth. The southpaw reached 2,000 career strikeouts by whiffing Jonathan Villar in the second inning. He’s the third-fastest pitcher to reach the milestone, behind only Pedro Martinez and Randy Johnson. Kershaw has been brilliant as usual so far this season, posting a 2.28 ERA and 92/11 K/BB ratio in 83 innings through 12 starts.

Bet Today’s Nationals vs. Dodgers Game

OUR PREDICTION: The under is 5-1 in Kershaw’s last six home starts versus the Nationals and is 7-2 in the last nine meetings between these two teams in Los Angeles. The under has also cashed in six of the Dodgers’ last seven games overall and is 4-1 in their last five home games. On the other side, the under is 8-1-1 in the Nationals’ last 10 games versus National League West opponents and is 7-3-1 in Strasburg’s last 11 starts overall.

WEDNESDAY MLB PREDICTION: NATIONALS/DODGERS UNDER 6.5
