From Rotoworld: Roark allowed three unearned runs in six innings Sunday as the Nationals routed the Reds. A throwing error by Nationals catcher Jose Lobaton and a fielding error by shortstop Wilmer Difo paved the way for a two-run third inning for the Reds. Scooter Gennett scored Cincinnati’s third run of the game after a throwing error by Anthony Rendon in the bottom of the fifth. Roark, pitching on eight days of rest, struck out five batters and issued three walks while scattering four hits. He is 7-6 on the season with a 4.98 ERA.
Banda is being recalled from Triple-A Reno to make his major-league debut tonight. The 23-year-old has made 18 starts for the Aces, posting a 7-5 record and a 5.08 ERA. Banda also has 93 strikeouts to just 43 walks in 101 innings.
