PITCHING MATCHUP
The pitching matchup for today’s game has Kendall Graveman pitching for the Athletics to face Shohei Ohtani of the Angels. Graveman is 0-1 after two starts. He has allowed nine earned runs over 10 innings and has just two strikeouts. Ohtani won his pitching debut against Oakland last Sunday, allowing three runs over six innings with six strikeouts. He also has been a force at the plate, already hitting three home runs and driving in seven runs.

PUBLIC BETTING INFORMATION
The public is backing the Angels today. Los Angeles is getting 55 percent of the wagers for this game as the favorite at home against the Athletics.
KEY INJURIES
Ian Kinsler is listed on the injury report for the Angels. He is probable to play Tuesday after he will be activated from the 10-day DL. Oakland’s Chad Pinder is out today due to a knee injury while outfielder Boog Powell is questionable due to a knee injury that kept him out on Saturday.
BETTING STRATEGIES
These two have already met six times this season with the Angeles winning four of the six meetings. Oakland managed to get the nod on Saturday with a 7-3 victory on the road. JC Ramirez really struggled on the mound for the Angels. He lasted just two innings in his start and allowed three runs and five walks to take the loss. Andrew Triggs wasn’t great, but allowed just two runs over 5.2 innings to get the win for Oakland.
Six different Oakland players drove in a run on Saturday. Marcus Semien was the lone Athletics to drive in multiple runs. Jed Lowrie connected on his second home run of the season as well. Justin Upton led the Angeles with a pair of hits and two RBI. He connected on his third home run of the season.
Ohtani has been living up to the hype, at least at the plate. His pitching still has to iron out a little, but he had a decent first start against the Athletics. I think he will have success again today, at least more than Graveman. Graveman has really looked shaky and I don’t think that will change today on the road.
