Orioles vs. Yankees Prediction
Will the Orioles avoid being swept by the Yankees with a win today at 1:05PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Yankees are -152 money line favorites versus the Orioles, who have odds of +142 to pull off the upset in the Bronx. With Kevin Gausman set to face Chad Green in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 10.5 runs.

Gausman allowed four runs in 6 2/3 innings Tuesday in a no-decision versus the Pirates. Gausman has stopped getting lit up like he was in April, but he’s not giving anyone any reason to be excited that a breakthrough is coming. He’s topped five strikeouts just once in 13 starts this year. Overall, he’s surrendered 90 hits in 65 innings.
Green will start Sunday’s game against the Orioles. There had been reports that Domingo German would start Sunday but instead it will be Green. The right-hander told the Yankees he can give them about 45 pitches on Sunday, so it looks like this will end up being a bullpen game. At least the Yankees are in better shape than the Orioles, who dipped into their bullpen in the second inning on Saturday night. The Yankees are giving Masahiro Tanaka an extra day between starts, which is why they needed a starter for Sunday’s game.
Bet Today’s Orioles vs. Yankees Game
OUR PREDICTION: The Orioles should avoid being swept in the Bronx but I’m not willing to roll the dice on a Baltimore team that is in a funk. Given how hot New York’s bats are, there’s more value in the over. The over is 5-0 in the last five meetings between these two teams in New York and is 10-1 in the last 11 meetings overall. The over has also cashed in four of the Yankees’ five games and is 21-8 in their last 29 games versus divisional rivals.
