From Rotoworld: Bundy allowed two runs over five innings in a loss to the Red Sox on Saturday. The good news: Bundy allowed two or fewer runs for the ninth time in 12 starts this year. The bad news: he gave up a home run, the sixth consecutive start in which he’s given up at least one. Bundy has lost three of his last four decisions while pitching fairly well, and the 24-year-old is 6-4 with a 2.93 ERA and 1.13 WHIP overall. Bundy will next take on the Yankees on Friday.
Montgomery earned his third victory of the season on Saturday, firing six shutout innings against the Blue Jays.
Montgomery scattered three hits and three walks on the afternoon. The rookie southpaw has pitched pretty well this season, compiling a 3.67 ERA, 1.28 WHIP and 53/22 K/BB ratio through 56 1/3 innings of work. He’ll look to replicate this fine effort when he does battle against the Orioles on Friday.
