From Rotoworld: Chacin allowed just three hits and two walks while striking out three batters over seven scoreless innings in a win Tuesday against the Twins. Chacin has won five straight decisions and he hasn’t lost in six starts dating back to June 27. He is 7-3 with a 2.49 ERA over his past 11 starts, lowering his ERA from 5.77 to 3.99 during the stretch. His next scheduled start is set for Monday in Cincinnati. He is 4-5 with a 7.35 ERA over 10 road outings as opposed to 7-2 with a 1.86 ERA in 12 starts at Petco Park.
Adleman was battered by the Marlins on Saturday, allowing six runs over 4 1/3 innings in a loss. Adleman had a pair of three-run frames against him, allowing a Christian Yelich three-run homer in the third before giving up three more runs on a pair of RBI doubles in the fifth. He didn’t do himself any favors, either, walking four with the six hits allowed. The loss was his fifth in a row, dropping him to 5-9 with a 5.42 ERA and 1.41 WHIP through 20 appearances (19 starts).
