From Rotoworld: Blach allowed just two earned runs, six hits and three walks with five strikeouts across 7 2/3 innings in a win against Atlanta on Saturday. Blach also helped himself by going 2-for-3 with an RBI. He has turned in three excellent outings, posting quality starts and wins during the impressive span. He is 3-0 with a 2.49 ERA during the span, lasting at least seven innings in each of his past four outings. Blach is subbing for the injured Madison Bumgarner and he is pitching so well that he could keep his rotation spot once MadBum is finally healthy.
Eickhoff allowed three runs in 5 1/3 innings while taking a no-decision against the Reds on Saturday. He gave up a two-run blast to Zack Cozart in the first inning, then kept the Reds off the board until the sixth inning when he allowed his third and final run. He surrendered eight hits and one walk while notching four strikeouts in the contest. Eickhoff has yet to win a game through 10 starts this season. He has five losses and a 4.74 ERA with 51 strikeouts in 57 innings. His fantasy owners should see better results in wins and ERA moving forward.
