Will Chris Sale and the Red Sox shut down the Rays when the two teams meet at 7:10PM ET in Tampa tonight?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Red Sox are -210 money line favorites versus the Rays, who have odds of +185 to pull off the upset at home. With Sale set to face Austin Pruitt in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 7.5 runs.

From Rotoworld: Sale surrendered seven runs in five innings Tuesday in a no-decision versus the Indians. Sale had worked with Sandy Leon every start this season, but Leon wasn’t available tonight and the pairing with Christian Vazquez didn’t go so well, though Vazquez ended up making up for it with his bat. Chalk it up as an off night. He allowed more runs tonight that he did in five starts in July (four runs in 34 2/3 IP).
Pruitt tossed 6 1/3 scoreless innings against the Astros to earn a win Wednesday. Steve Cishek, Dan Jennings and Alex Colome finished the shutout. Pruitt’s rotation stay figured to be a really short one, but he certainly helped his cause tonight. He entered the game with a 6.63 ERA in two starts and 17 relief appearances this season. We wouldn’t suggest picking him up.
