Cardinals vs. Reds Prediction
Will the Reds hand the struggling Cardinals yet another loss when the NL Central rivals meet again at 7:10PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Cardinals are -130 money line favorites versus the Reds, who have odds of +120 to pull off the upset. With Adam Wainwright set to face Tim Adleman in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 9 runs.

Wainwright allowed four hits over six innings and hit a two-run homer as the Cardinals beat the Dodgers 2-0 on Thursday. Wainwright took matters into his own hands in this one, hitting his 10th career homer to account for all of the scoring in the victory. He’s allowed one earned run over 26 1/3 innings in his last four starts, lowering his ERA from 6.37 to 3.79. Wainwright is neither as good as he looks right now or as bad as he performed in April. Adleman allowed three earned runs over six innings Wednesday in a no-decision versus Toronto. Adleman left with the game tied 3-3, but reliever Wandy Peralta gave up two runs in the bottom of the seventh and Toronto went to win the game 5-4. Adleman walked two and yielded six hits, including a two-run homer to Blue Jays backup catcher Luke Maile in the bottom of the fifth. He struck out five. Adleman will carry a 4.89 ERA and 1.26 WHIP into his next start at home against the Cardinals.
Bet Tonight’s Cardinals vs. Reds Game
OUR PREDICTION: The Cardinals are in a tailspin because their offense lacks punch, they run into too many outs on the base paths, and their defense is lousy. Simply put, they’re a bad investment right now. They’re 0-5 in their last five road games, are 0-4 in their last four games overall, and are 1-7 in their last eight games versus a right-handed starter. Given me the plus odds with the underdog Reds.
