According to oddsmakers from online sports book Bovada.lv, the Reds are -120 money line favorites versus the Padres, who have odds of +100 to pull off the small upset at home. With Scott Feldman set to face Clayton Richard in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 8 runs.

From Rotoworld: Feldman blanked the Cardinals for seven innings Thursday to improve to 5-4 this season. Feldman allowed four hits, walked none and struck out four against the slumping St. Louis offense. He’s thrown 13 scoreless innings versus the Cardinals this season, while amassing a 4.98 ERA against the rest of the league.
Richard couldn’t catch a break on Thursday, giving up six hits, four runs and a walk over five lackluster innings in a loss to the Diamondbacks. He finished with five strikeouts while throwing 53 of his 77 pitches for strikes. Richard actually fared much better than the bullpen did as San Diego relievers coughed up 11 runs in only three innings after his departure. With that said, Richard certainly wasn’t sharp on Thursday, yielding two runs in the first inning before serving up a two-run homer to Chris Iannetta in the fifth. The loss drops Richard to 4-7 on the year.
Bet Tonight’s Reds vs. Padres Game
OUR PREDICTION: The Padres are winless in Richard’s last four starts against the Reds and are just 2-5 in his last seven outings overall. They’re also winless at 0-4 in his last four starts versus National League Central opponents and are 1-4 in his last five outings versus a team that owns a losing record. Cincinnati is due for a win after losing four straight overall.
