Rotoworld on Feldman’s last outing: Feldman allowed two runs over seven innings Friday in a no-decision against the Giants. Feldman is getting some strong defensive support and has been a little lucky in the home run department on is way to posting a 3.59 ERA in his first eight starts. This is his ceiling, but the Reds will certainly take it.
Hendricks allowed three runs (two earned) on four hits over 6 1/3 innings in Wednesday’s loss to the Rockies. Ian Desmond lofted a sacrifice fly off Hendricks in the fourth inning to put the Cubs down 1-0. The other two runs on his line came home on a two-run single by opposing number German Marquez in the seventh inning. He finished his afternoon having struck out seven and walked two. Hendricks will carry a 3.40 ERA and 1.21 WHIP into a home start against the Reds next time he takes to the mound
