According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Nationals are -110 money line favorites versus the Rockies, who have odds of -105 to pull off the upset. With Kyle Freeland set to face Erick Fedde in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 10 runs.

From Rotoworld: Freeland allowed two runs on six hits over six innings in Sunday’s win over the Pirates. Freeland struck out three and walked one on the afternoon. Josh Bell knocked him for an RBI single in the fourth and David Freese took him deep for a solo shot in the sixth, but otherwise the Pirates were unable to dent the scoreboard on his watch. The rookie southpaw will bring a 3.64 ERA, 1.37 WHIP and 72/43 K/BB ratio (116 1/3 innings) into a potentially troublesome road start against the Nationals next time he toes the rubber.
The Nationals purchased the contract of Fedde from Triple-A Syracuse. Fedde will make his major league debut during Sunday’s doubleheader versus the Rockies. The former first-round pick has posted a 3.72 ERA, 1.19 WHIP and 69/21 K/BB ratio across 77 1/3 frames between Double- and Triple-A this season. It’s possible he’ll stick around for additional starts, but that will depend on how he does Sunday, Stephen Strasburg’s (elbow) recovery and the possibility of the Nats trading for a starter.
