From Rotoworld: Kuhl logged a quality start in Tuesday’s victory over the Tigers, allowing three runs on five hits over his six frames. The right-hander punched out six on the night while issuing only one free pass. He hurled five shutout innings to start the contest before the Tigers finally broke through and scratched out three runs in the sixth. Kuhl has now pitched well in each of his last three starts. He’ll carry a 4.53 ERA and 1.42 WHIP into his next start against the Blue Jays in Toronto on Sunday.
Happ pitched 5 2/3 innings of one-run ball in a win over the Yankees on Tuesday. Happ pitched around four walks in this one. He’s pitched well his last three times out to get his ERA back down to 3.77. There’s been no word yet on whether he’s cleared waivers and become a possibility for a trade. The Jays want to contend next year and have him for a reasonable $13 million, so it’d take a substantial return to pry him away.
