Dodgers vs. Marlins Prediction
Will the Dodgers stay red-hot with a victory over the Marlins tonight at 7:10PM ET?
According to oddsmakers from online sports book BetDSI, the Dodgers are -190 money line favorites versus the Marlins, who have odds of +155 to pull off the upset. With Alex Wood set to face Jose Urena in the pitching matchup, the over/under currently sits at 8.5 runs.

From Rotoworld: Wood allowed just three hits and two walks with 10 strikeouts over seven scoreless frames in Wednesday’s win against the Diamondbacks. Wood was stupendous, throwing 61 of his 85 pitches to move to 10-0 while lowering his ERA to 1.67. He is the first Dodgers starter to reach 10-0 since Don Newcombe accomplished the feat back in 1955 when the franchise was in Brooklyn. Wood hasn’t lost since May 30, 2016, a span of 13 straight outings. Teammate Clayton Kershaw is scheduled to pitch Sunday, so Wood could be an All-Star replacement for the left-hander.
Urena gave up three earned runs over five innings Sunday in a no-decision against the Giants. Miami wound up winning the game 10-8 in 11 innings, well after Urena had departed. The young right-hander walked one and surrendered five hits, including homers to Brandon Crawford and Nick Hundley. Urena finishes the first half of the 2017 season with a 3.54 ERA, 1.22 WHIP, and 58/30 K/BB ratio in 86 1/3 innings.
Bet Tonight’s Dodgers vs. Marlins Game
OUR PREDICTION: The Dodgers are 10-1 in Wood’s last 11 starts, are 6-0 in his last six outings following a quality start in his last appearance, and are 8-0 in his last eight starts after scoring five runs or more in their previous game. On the other side, the Marlins have lost four of their last five games against the Dodgers, who I’m not betting against with Wood on the hill.
SATURDAY MLB PREDICTION: LOS ANGELES DODGERS -1.5 (-115)
