Cleveland has won its last seven games by at least two runs and is now just 2.5 games behind the Astros in the AL race. The Indians are 84-56 overall and 36-29 at home. The Tribe are averaging 5.07 runs per game while allowing just 3.65 per contest. Cleveland is being led by Edwin Encarnacion, who has 33 home runs with 85 RBI. Jose Ramirez is adding 47 doubles, 25 home runs and 69 RBI. However, he is battling a wrist issue that has him questionable for this game.
The Orioles are coming off a series loss at home to the Yankees and are just 3-4 in their last seven. Baltimore is now 71-69 overall and 27-39 on the road. Eventually this win streak for Cleveland has to end, but I don’t think it will be tonight. It’s nice that the Indians have such low odds for being at home and on this kind of win streak. The Orioles aren’t exactly on fire right now and have a pitching with a near 5.00 ERA on the mound. Clevinger has been great in recent starts and should continue to do well at home. Stick with the Tribe tonight.
