Orioles vs. Nationals Pick
Following a comeback win on Wednesday, can the Washington Nationals ride that momentum to another win over the Baltimore Orioles tonight at 7:05PM ET?
According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, this game is considered even, as both the Nationals and the Orioles are getting odds of -110 to win. The over/under total for the contest is listed at 8.5 runs.

The pitching matchup on Thursday has A.J. Cole (1-0, 1.50 ERA) on the mound for the Nationals to face Dylan Bundy (5-1, 2.17) of the Orioles. Cole has had just one start, which was last week at Philadelphia. He went six innings, striking out two with four walks and six hits allowed. He gave up just one run in a 6-2 victory. Bundy has been rolling along this season. He has won his last four decisions and the Orioles have won six of the seven games he has started. He has allowed just 11 earned runs and 11 walks in 45.2 innings of pitching. His WHIP this season is 1.05.
The Nationals rallied to pick up a 7-6 win at home on Wednesday. Baltimore won two games at home earlier this week. The home team has now won six of the last seven in this series. Baltimore is now 22-11 overall and 9-8 on the road while Washington is 22-12 overall and 10-6 at home.
Washington trailed 6-2 in the bottom of the eighth on Wednesday, but scored two in the eighth and another three in the ninth to grab the win. Michael Taylor had a two-run home run in the eighth. Jayson Werth followed with a solo home run in the ninth and then Matt Wieters had a two-run single to win the game. Brad Brach blew the save, giving up all three runs in the ninth while recording just one out. Mark Trumbo and Manny Machado both homered in the loss. Machado has nine home runs in the season.
Baltimore has done its part to take all three games in this series thus far. The Orioles hitters have been producing runs while the starting pitchers have given them a fair chance. I think today will be more of the same. Bundy has been very steady this year and should get deep into the game with little damage done. Cole had a nice first outing against Philly, but now faces a much stronger Baltimore lineup. I think the Orioles will make him pay for any mistakes he makes.
