From Rotoworld: Cole allowed four earned runs, 10 hits and a walk across five innings in a no-decision against the Mets on Saturday. Cole was looking very ace-like with eight straight quality starts from April 9-May 17, but he has been hit hard for nine earned runs, 20 hits and five homers over 9 2/3 innings across his past two outings. He’ll look to get back on track next Friday in a rematch with the Mets at Citi Field.
Harvey delivered one of his finest starts of the 2017 season on Sunday, allowing just one run on six hits over six innings in a victory over the Pirates. The right-hander walked two and struck out four on the evening. The only damage he allowed was a solo homer off the bat of Gregory Polanco in the second inning. In what has been an inconsistent and drama-filled season to date, perhaps this is the type of start Harvey needed to get back on track. He’ll bring a 4.95 ERA and 1.46 WHIP into a rematch against these same Pirates at home on Friday.
