From Rotoworld: Adleman surrendered three runs on six hits over five innings in Sunday’s loss to the Cubs. Adleman struck out five and walked one on the afternoon. He pitched quite well on the whole, at least against batters not named Ian Happ. Happ conked a pair of homers off the right-hander, swatting a two-run dinger in the second inning and a solo shot in the fourth. Adleman will bring a 4.67 ERA and 1.33 WHIP into a road start against the Diamondbacks next time out as he wraps up the pre-All-Star break portion of his schedule.
Greinke allowed just two earned runs, three hits and no walks with eight strikeouts over seven innings in a win against the Rockies on Saturday. Greinke moved to 10-4 while lowering his ERA to 3.05. He has won each of his past six home starts, and he is a perfect 8-0 with a 2.67 ERA with 12 walks and 82 strikeouts over 64 innings across 10 home starts. The opposition is also hitting just .195 against Greinke at Chase Field this season.
Bet Tonight’s Reds vs. Diamondbacks Game
