From Rotoworld: Jackson turned back the clock on Sunday, punching out six over seven innings of one-run ball in a dominant victory over the Rockies. Jackson scattered four hits and a pair of walks on the night. The only damage against him came on an RBI single from Gerardo Parra in the fifth inning. The veteran right-hander has actually pitched well since joining the Nationals’ rotation and will carry a 3.75 ERA and 1.42 WHIP into his next start against the Marlins.
Lackey surrendered two runs on five hits over six innings in Sunday’s win over the Brewers. Lackey punched out seven batters and walked two on the afternoon. Domingo Santana burned him for a two-run home run in the sixth inning, but that would be all she wrote in terms of runs scored on the veteran right-hander’s watch. Lackey will carry a 4.87 ERA, 1.33 WHIP and 99/36 K/BB ratio (114 2/3 innings) into a home start against the Nationals next time he toes the rubber.
