From Rotoworld: Bailey served up seven runs — five earned — over six innings Wednesday in a loss to the Yankees. Bailey issued only one walk, but he didn’t register a single strikeout and the Yankees pounced on him for 10 hits. The 31-year-old right-hander fell to 2-5 with an 8.37 ERA and 2.01 WHIP in seven starts covering 33 1/3 innings.
Taillon was smashed for 10 runs – nine earned – and nine hits with a walk and just one strikeout across three innings in a loss Tuesday at San Francisco. It was a nightmare outing for Taillon, as he threw just 43 of his 70 pitches for strikes. He was able to keep the ball in the park, but when he did throw strikes he hung them over the plate and they were smashed into corners or gaps. He allowed three doubles and a triple among his nine hits allowed. He’ll look to bounce back next Tuesday against Cincinnati.
