Washington Nationals DFS SPIN
Jon Morosi of MLB Network reports the Angels have discussed a potential trade with the Nationals for third baseman Jeimer Candelario. The Angels are clearly going for it and don’t appear to be done addition. No word on how close the two sides might be to a finalized deal, but Candelario would make a ton of sense as an extra corner infield option for Los Angeles as they make a push for a playoff berth
New York Mets DFS SPIN
Mark Canha delivered a go-ahead RBI sacrifice fly in the eighth inning on Thursday, lifting the Mets to a 2-1 victory over the Nationals. Canha stepped to the plate with the bases loaded following a 90-minute rain delay and came through with a go-ahead sacrifice fly in a low-scoring showdown at Citi Field.

Nationals vs. Mets MLB BETTING PREDICTION
I like the under. Scherzer is 8-4 with a 4.20 ERA on the season and while he struggled in his last outing (five runs allowed in six innings vs. Boston on Saturday), he’s also 4-0 with a 3.72 ERA in seven career games – six starts – against the Red Sox. As for Gore, he earned his second straight win last Sunday when he tossed five scoreless innings in the Nationals’ 6-1 win over the Giants. Gore is 1-0 with a 0.90 ERA in two career starts against the Mets, which both came earlier this season.
MLB BETTING PREDICTION: NATIONALS/METS UNDER 8.5
