Yankees vs. Rockies Prediction
A lofty total has been set when the Colorado Rockies host the New York Yankees tonight at 8:40PM ET. Is it too high?
The Yankees have Nathan Eovaldi on the mound tonight to face Jorge De La Rosa of the Rockies. According to oddsmakers at BetDSI, New York is favored on the road. The Yankees are getting odds of -115 to win, while the Rockies have a money line of +105 to win. The over/under total for the contest has been set at 11.5 runs.
Colorado is 30-33 on the season, 13-16 at home and 31-30-2 with the under. New York is 31-32 overall, 13-18 on the road and 32-24-7 with the under. These two teams haven’t met since the 2013 season when the Yankees won two of three meetings in Colorado.

The Yankees come into today’s game having lost their last two, scoring just a single run in each of the two games. Colorado has won four of its last five, but only had one win see them score more than five runs. While there is certainly some questionable pitching, especially with DeLaRosa, New York and Colorado haven’t been lighting up the scoreboard. It’s a lot to ask for teams to post 12 runs in a game. I suggest going with the under.
