Yankees vs. Angels Tuesday Prediction
A 14-inning game last night in Anaheim has forced the Yankees to make some last-minute changes to the starting rotation. With Domingo German scheduled to face the Angels now, are the Bombers are rare money line value for bettors tonight?

New York Yankees Fantasy Spin
Gio Urshela went 2-for-5 with two RBI in the Yankees’ 4-3 win over the Angels on Monday in 14 innings. Urshela drove in his first run in the 12th inning with a sacrifice fly, but Aroldis Chapman blew the save in the bottom of the frame. Two innings later, Urshela singled home Gleyber Torres to give the Yankees a 4-3 lead and ultimately the victory. The 27-year-old is now hitting .297/.372/.405 to begin the year, and because of New York’s injury woes, he should get a chance to play everyday. It’s just tough to imagine he keeps this up, based on his history against MLB pitching.
Los Angeles Angels Fantasy Spin
Mike Trout went 1-for-4 with a pair of walks and a stolen base in a loss to the Yankees on Monday in 14 innings. Trout’s hit was a single. The steal is the second of the season for the 27-year-old superstar. It’s good to see that the outfielder is feeling well enough to run after missing time with his groin injury.
MLB Betting Trends
New York
The Yankees are 6-1 in their last seven meetings with the Angels.
Los Angeles
The Angels have lost eight of their last 11 games versus the Yankees at home.
Prediction:
The Yankees are banged-up offensively and their bullpen is taxed after last night’s extra-innings affair. That said, I love the value that comes with New York tonight. German has been dominant this year, posting a 3-1 record to go along with a 2.37 ERA and 23 strikeouts over 19 innings. The Angels have been inconsistent offensively and their ballpark favors pitchers, although I see the Yankees providing German plenty of run support seeing as how they get a matchup with the struggling Chris Stratton.
The Pick: New York Yankees -105
