Orioles vs. Rays Prediction
The first round in the battle for first place in the American League East went to the Rays on Friday night, as Tampa Bay shutout the Orioles 3-0 at Tropicana Field. Will the Orioles even the series with a win on Saturday afternoon at 4:10 p.m. ET or is there a smarter play on the board?

Baltimore Orioles DFS SPIN
Ryan Mountcastle went 1-for-3 with a double as the Orioles were shut out by Zach Eflin and a pair of Rays’ relievers on Friday night. As a team, the Orioles were only able to muster two hits in the contest — with Mountcastle’s double the only one that went for extra bases. He has fallen off of a cliff since his hot start to the season and is now slashing a depressing .235/.269/.427 with 11 homers and 41 RBI on the year.
Tampa Bay Rays DFS SPIN
Isaac Paredes clubbed his 18th home run of the season as the Rays shut out the Orioles 3-0 in Tampa Bay on Friday. Paredes tagged Orioles’ starter Kyle Bradish for his 397-foot solo shot in the sixth inning — extending the Rays’ advantage to 2-0. He also doubled in the contest, finishing the evening 2-for-4. On the season, the 24-year-old slugger is slashing .261/.362/.507 with 18 long balls and 58 RBI.

Orioles vs. Rays MLB BETTING PREDICTION
Last night was a defensive struggle at Tropicana Field and I don’t see any reason why today’s matinee will be any different. Shane McClanahan came off the IL with back tightness and pitched six innings of two-run ball while striking out six on Monday against the Rangers. His velocity was up and he looked sharp. There’s no reason to believe he’ll suffer a setback tonight. Grayson Rodriquez, meanwhile, is 2-2 with a 7.33 ERA but the Rays have struggled mightily offensively of late.
MLB BETTING PREDICTION: ORIOLES/RAYS UNDER 7.5
