San Diego Padres DFS SPIN
Juan Soto went 2-for-4 with three RBI in a 9-1 blowout win over the Blue Jays. Juan Soto got the party started in the first inning, connecting with a two-run homer off Blue Jays starter Alek Manoah. He drove in his third run of the night when he roped a double to center in the third inning. With the two-hit night, the 24-year-old superstar is slashing .265/.417/.491 with 17 homers and 54 RBI across 419 plate appearances.
Toronto Blue Jays DFS SPIN
Alek Manoah was charged with four runs over three innings on Tuesday in a loss to the Padres. After not walking a batter in his first start back from the minor last time out, Manoah’s early season struggles returned. He allowed a two-run homer to Juan Soto in the top of the first inning. Soto got to him in the third inning, this time for a double which drove in Fernando Tatis Jr. The 25-year-old threw 49 of his 92 pitches for strikes (53 percent) and generated just six swinging strikes on the night. He heads to Seattle on Sunday, which is known to be a pitcher’s park, but that is not going to help him throw strikes consistently, so it would be best to keep him on the bench.

Padres vs. Blue Jays MLB BETTING PREDICTION
The Padres broke out their bats last night, with Juan Soto, Manny Machado, Gary Sanchez and Trent Grisham all hitting home runs for the Padres. That said, last night doesn’t change the fact that San Diego has stunk on the road. Jose Berrios will also take the mound for Toronto tonight and the right-hander has allowed just one run and eight hits in 12 1/3 innings over his past two starts. The Padres will counter with Yu Darvish, who struck out nine in six innings while allowing one run and five hits in a win over the Phillies. That said, Darvish has posted a 5.52 ERA in eight road starts this season, so his road woes go hand-in-hand with the team’s struggles away from Petco Park. I like the Jays to rebound.
